Because our work deals with sensitive issues, it’s often confidential. Here is a flavour of the difference we’ve made since we started in January 2023.

• Design and execute large scale cross-government wargaming: understand complex, systemic risks, generate evidence-based analysis to support investment decisions, and develop the habits needed to preposition and then respond to a polycrisis.
• Develop a new model for military operational advantage to better understand complex frameworks of capability, force structures, and operational functions and to develop novel strategic concepts in graphical form.
• Develop a high-performance agent-based modeling engine to generate synthetic data that can be adapted in real time, delivering a “Tactics Testbed” to support high-stakes and fast moving decision-making at operational level.
• Build an easy-to-use tool that integrates with live datasets to allow UK law enforcement to model the dynamic risk profile of venues, providing real time analysis of fluctuating threats and enabling resource prioritisation.
• Build a proof-of-concept AI-assisted modeling tool that integrates super-forecasting capabilities with expert policy analysis to model complex systemic risks and generate real-time predictive insights. Through human-machine teaming, scale analytical outputs (capacity and speed) while maintaining the transparency needed for operational decision-making.
• Build system mapping and policy modeling to support Local Government Reform, identifying key leverage points in policy areas such as transport and social care to enhance communication, visualise system ripple effects, and demonstrate how policy changes impact economic and social outcomes.
• Develop a policy test bed and systems-thinking tool to evaluate interventions for complex, cross-departmental challenges, fostering cross-stakeholder engagement and enhancing policy options analysis where pilot programmes would be too time consuming, costly, or risky.
